Tiesha Bryant, MSW

Founder/CEO

Tiesha N. Bryant is a an author, motivational speaker, and master level social worker. She’s a native of Pittsview, Alabama. 

Bryant is a graduate of Florida A&M University and Troy University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in 2014 and master’s degree in 2017, both in social work. Bryant has facilitated parenting classes and served at-risk families for over 10 years. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, which includes her husband and two children.

Lacarole Lloyd, BSW

President

LaCarole Lloyd grew up in Hurtsboro, AL. She is married with three children. In 2008 she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) degree with a minor in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She holds certifications in Options Counseling and Community Resources . She is also a Mental Health First Aider.
She has always been passionate about helping those who are considered vulnerable. She has about 12 years of experience in social work. She started her career in child protective services, working as a child abuse in the neglect investigator. She currently works with individuals who are aging and disabled. 
She loves to spend time with her family and close friends. Her hobbies include: reading health articles, cooking, planning, shopping, and traveling.

Jasmine Lyles, SHRM

Vice President

Jasmine Lyles is a native of Phenix City, AL and has lived in Atlanta, Ga since 2014. Jasmine became a board member of WHAP in 2015, initially as the secretary and in 2018 she became the VP. She enjoys the inner workings of all things behind the scenes. Jasmine received her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management from Clayton State University. She currently works as a Human Resources Director in the health sector and most recently received her SHRM certification.

Shawnita Goosby ESQ

President

Shawnita Goosby is a licensed attorney. She is a 2003 graduate of Columbus High School in Columbus, Georgia. After high school Attorney Goosby attended Albany State University  where she received her Bachelor’s of Science. She received her Master’s from Troy University. Most recently, in May 2020 she received her Juris Doctorate  from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While in law school ,she became a member and junior editor for SULC’s Journal of Race, Gender, and Poverty. She additionally wrote an article for the ABA Law Student Division titled : “ How to Survive Law School with children” . After the success of the article she was approached by Legal Talk Network to host an Episode with fellow law school mothers to discuss matriculating law school as full-time parents.

After, graduating from law school Attorney Goosby moved back home to Columbus, Georgia. She sat for the July 2021 bar examination; passing the bar exam on her first attempt.  She was sworn-in as a licensed Attorney in November of 2021.  After being admitted into the Georgia Bar, she has become licensed to practice in The Georgia Court of Appeals and The Supreme Court of Georgia.

Shawnita is a mother of three children ranging in ages from 1-14. She is passionate about God, family, community, and education. She currently practices Family Law and Criminal Defense in Columbus, Georgia and surrounding areas.
